Annual Advanced Access Xmas Party

The night was perfect. Rain had stopped earlier that afternoon, the air so fresh and best of all no wind. We were ready to have a good time and wasted. As we arrived at the Anaheim Hills Country Club I noticed that there were hardly any cars. I met up with a co-worker before the party for a smoke session and then walked in together. We then introduced ourselves and dates to the company management team and fellow co-workers, most whom have been already drinking since it started at 6pm. It was 7:30pm when we arrived, we were hungry. The first thing we did was grab a plate and loaded them to the rim. Juices were overflowing and spilled on my tie. Oh well time to eat. This year the room was cut in half. Not all the tables were filled and the dance floor was empty for the most part. As i ate I looked around and saw many of the sales guys having a great time. They must have been the most drunk at this year's event. No free alcohol, no drink tickets and it was a cash only bar. WTF!!! We took a quick drive to the CVS around the corner and purchased a nice bottle of that fine vodka from France...Grey Goose. We came back and then shared the bottle for a small drink fee. At the end of the night that bottle paid for itself and I still have a quarter left.
